I love my kids but I could pay for a semester of college at what one of those houses costs lol. I'll stick with the plastic house they have. I could always make daddy build them a play house. I bet it would be crooked lol

Hi and thanks for your comment.. actually, they are not as pricey as you might think. They are actually less than the majority of the play sets, or climbers that families purchase at Sams, Costco, Lowe's, etc. and, they last more than 25 years.  Completely waterproof and hand-made, there isn't a better quality imaginative play item on the market. Because of the amazing quality and detail, these make perfect gifts for families that enjoy passing down those special childhood items to the next generation.

The crooked houses are also terrific for school, church and non-profit fundraisers.. thousands of dollars can be made in selling raffle tickets to auction one of our houses. AND, they can be customized with logos, school colors and more!

Have a crooked night!

I looked through the pictures on the website and think they are ADORABLE!! If my kids were still little enough to get use out of that, I would try to swing it but they would think I was out of my mind if I bought one now... why do they have to grow up so quickly? <sigh>

Thanks Lacy for the kind words!  They're also wonderful auction items for fundraisers if you know of any upcoming galas, silent auctions, etc. They pull in a lot of donations!

Just curious but why wouldn't a kid want a nice straight house?

Agree...  I'd steer clear of anything they buy.  I'd be embarrassed to say I own something I saw "advertised" on their show.  Cute idea, though.

Also, as far as the price being the same as the swingsets, I'll get a lot more use out of a swing set than a house.  I can have 10 kids over and they will have room to play on the swing set but will 10 - 4 yr olds fit comfortably in a crooked house and still have room to play and imagine - doubt it!

Sorry!

I doubt the Gosselins paid for their crooked houses.  It may have been a good marketing idea on paper but it did show those houses were pretty darn small and once I match the prices to the room in the houses I saw on Jon and Kate it really isn't a good value and a kid would have very limited use of a house this small.  You also have to put them together and paint them right?  Why not start from scratch and build a house?

Cute idea but not very practical.
